Civil engineering

For extensions and changes of the infrastructure, the engineer’s co-ordinate the entire process with the landscape architects. They carry out everything from an initial analysis of the ground conditions to the actual implementation and follow-up. In the areas of land, water supply, sewer systems, roads and streets, Bjerking work with and plan everything in co-operation with landscape architects.

In the sector of water supply and sewer systems, the civil design department has great experience of both consulting and contracting. Some examples of current commissions are the main water piping to Uppsala's new water works, drainage and relocation of piping in conjunction with road and street projects, investigation and design of new constructions and re-constructions of city water supply and sewer systems.
